Operated a variety of audio recording equipment, including boom and lavalier mics for dialogue, wireless systems, and ambient sound.

Set up microphones in the field to record natural sounds such as ambiance or dialogues from multiple sources at once (known as wild track).

Maintained quality control over all recorded material by listening to each take of every scene before moving on to ensure that no usable information is lost due to technical problems with the recordings.

Ensured proper levels during recording sessions using meters and/or VU-meters and adjusted microphone placement accordingly when necessary.

Communicated effectively with crew members regarding location noise issues and worked closely with production staff to resolve any problems encountered while shooting outdoors.
